University of Warsaw was established in 1816 and nowadays, it is Poland's largest and finest university. From its inception, the University of Warsaw has played a major role in the intellectual, political, and cultural life of Poland, and has been recognized throughout the world as a leading academic center in this part of Europe. 6 graduates of the University of Warsaw were awarded Nobel Prize, including prof. Leonid Hurwicz, Nobel Prize winner in economics (2007) and Olga Tokarczuk in literature (2018).
Faculty of Management was established in 1972 as part of the University of Warsaw. It is the oldest management school in Central and Eastern Europe. Nowadays, it is one of the most respected management education and research centers in Poland and East and Central Europe. The Faculty offers various programs of study on three levels of education – bachelor, master, and postgraduate studies. At present more than 5 500 international and Polish students were enrolled at the Faculty. The high quality of our activity is confirmed by our high rankings in national and international league tables. Faculty of Management is ranked in the "A" research category of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, being a leading research institution in the field of management. We are No.1 in the Polish faculties of economics ranking and in Edunversal ranking of the best business schools at the 2nd place in Eastern Europe.
Faculty of Management is located in the Southern Campus of the University of Warsaw. The modern buildings have spacious and air-conditioned study rooms, equipped with multimedia and computing equipment. On the premises, there are cafeterias, kiosks, library, academic bookshop and computer laboratories. The Faculty has its own Publishing House, and many published academic books are in English. Students have free Internet access through the Faculty's WiFi service. Academic Entrepreneurship Incubator helps students establish new businesses and offer facilities for start-ups.
Faculty of Management conducts bachelor and master studies on two majors taught in Polish language: “Management” and “Financial Management and Accounting”.

Faculty of Management has partnership agreements with leading universities and business schools worldwide. We have highly praised international accreditations confirming the quality of education: EQUIS, AMBA, CEEMAN, 5 PALMES and we are members of international organizations such as: European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the Central and the East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN) and the Baltic Sea Region University Network (BSRUN).
Every year, we create a welcoming study and work environment for numerous exchange students, visiting professors and researchers. We also extend our warm welcome to you, inviting you to join the constantly growing community of international leaders, who study, teach or conduct research at our Faculty.
We invite students from our partner universities and every year, there are many exchange students coming from over 80 institutions within Erasmus exchange program and other agreements. We welcome self-supporting students, who want to spend exchange semester in Poland to enroll in our courses, learn Polish business culture or conduct research.
